Skilled Labourer

Overview/Position:

The Skilled Labourer is responsible for general shop, sandblasting, painting, and assembly duties within the Production department.

Duties:

  • General shop labour duties.
  • Sandblasting and cleaning parts.
  • Prepping and painting parts requiring respirator fit testing.
  • Assembling, hydrotesting, and calibrating control valves and related products.

Inside Salesperson

Overview/Position:

The Inside Sales Representative serves as the primary contact for domestic customers. The sales representative advises customers on CVS products, determines product/equipment required as per customer needs and creates work orders accurate to customer specifications. The sales representative monitors orders to its completion and provides post-sales customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to daily sales inquiries (phone or email).
  • Provide customer service to walk-in customers.
  • Ensure customer needs are met throughout sales process.
  • Determine and advise customer on appropriate product or equipment for customer needs.
  • Prepare customer quotations, work orders and packing slips.
  • Monitor orders and update customer as necessary.
  • Liaise with multiple departments to ensure orders are accurate and completed as requested by customer.
  • File quotes and work orders.
  • Provide technical support to customer and follow-up on solutions.
  • Assume other duties as required.

Inventory Parts Person

Overview/Position:

The Inventory Partsperson is responsible for accurately picking and distributing parts to production staff according to work orders. The Inventory Partsperson assists the Inventory Parts Lead with the organization and control of parts in the inventory cage area.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform inventory cycle counts in the inventory cage area.
  • Pick and issue work order items to production staff.
  • Review and make corrections on work order items.
  • Bag parts and stock accordingly e.g., making parts kits.
  • Bin/section organization.
  • Ensure inventory cage is clean and tidy.
  • Assume other duties as assigned.

Order Picker/Shipper

Overview/Position:

As an Order Picker, your main role is to process outgoing shipments by compiling products through packing slips. You will also assist the shipping team with prepping and packaging orders. This role includes documentation, loading, packaging, and clear communication with your team, drivers, and customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Order Picker:
    • Pick parts according to pick/packing slip.
    • Confirm any outstanding shipments on order number list.

    Also includes:

    • Determine order of processing shipments according to customer ship date and courier pickup schedule.
    • Ensure accuracy in completing all associated shipping documentation.
    • Assist customers/carriers with order pick-up and loading.
    • Proper securing of product to shipping pallet/box e.g. banding, wrapping, foam, boxing.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient shipping department.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
