The Norriseal No-Bleed "Forced Balance" Type controller is used to monitor the changing level of fluid(s) in a vessel. the standard configuration of the 1001 consists of a 2.00" NPT body construction, optional 2.00" to 6.00" ANSI class 150-2500 flanged end connections, a snap or throttle pilot relay and is contructed for of materials suitable for non-corrosive environments. Operating temperature limits range from -70° to 600°F depending on material selection. For severe corrosive applications "sour service" materials are used to meet NACE MR-01-75. In situations where only sour (H2S gas) supply air can be used, the 1001 Level Controller can be offered with a sealed case (series 1001A/ 1001XL) to contain vapors and keep the working environment safe. Electric controllers utilize an explosion proof switch which is UL and CSA approved-SPDT or DPDT.
