DEW POINT TESTERS

This instrument has a pressure-tight chamber to contain the gas or vapor sample, and inlet and outlet valves for controlling the flow. At one end, a circular clear window allows observation of the interior as well as of the mirror (highly polished stainless steel) on which the condensation of water occurs.

A chiller is attached to the thermometer well to control the expansion of the refrigerant and temperature of the mirror. A thermometer whose bulb is located close to the back of the mirror surface indicates the mirror temperature. A pressure gauge is attached to the upper chamber and a tripod socket to the bottom.

The CVS Controls Dew Point Tester can be used for moisture dew points, hydrocarbon dew points, alcohol dew points and glycol dew points.
